John has a long and productive history in the entertainment industry...
1966 - 1972…. As a young musician, John traveled across North America performed with various show bands including “The Inspirations, Three Guys And Carole, Five Of A Kind.
1972 - 1977…. Produced and Managed Canadian recording groups such as, Bond, Taxi, Fellowship, Funktion.
1975 – 1980…. Entertainment Director for the Commonwealth Holiday Inns of Canada. Procured talent for forty eight Holiday Inn hotels coast to coast.
1980 - Founded Progressive Concert Productions Inc. which has since grown to become one of Canada’s leaders in producing and staging live major events across North America. Progressive is very active in private corporate functions and fundraisers.
1987 – Produced “Legends Alive” A Tribute To The Superstars, Canada’s original impersonation show. This spectacular world class live stage show has dazzled audiences of all ages and still tours all over North America. In association with xentel Inc, Legends Alive has helped raise millions of dollars for various charities.
Present and past clients include: Mount Sinai Hospital, Baycrest Centre, UFCW Leukemia Fund, Drug Trading, Re/ Max, Royal Bank, Toronto Police Association, xentel Inc, just to mention a few.
Over the past 35 years, John has established a strong working relationship with Managers, Agents and Artists alike. Some of the performers he has worked with include, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Bob Hope, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Bill Cosby, Frankie Valli, Roy Orbison, Ricky Nelson, Joan Rivers, Don Rickles, Randy Travis, George Jones, Jim Carrey and many more...
